HOUSE OF HOPE
House of Hope provides holistic care to poor and orphaned children near Guatemala City, Guatemala. They do this by providing food, clothes, health care, education and biblical studies. But mostly by sharing the love of Jesus Christ.
House of Hope started as a feeding program in July 2005 by a local Guatemalan couple. Besides their own four children they were feeding ten other children a day on their small back porch. They were struggling day to day wondering where their next meal would come from and praying for help. A local pastor introduced the Robertson’s to this couple. It was a divine introduction of two families with the same heart for ministry.
The program is located about an hour outside of the capital of Guatemala. Currently we are feeding 70 children a day in our new facility. The facility encompasses a dining hall and kitchen, classrooms, medical clinic rooms and team housing.
